SPARWOOD LIONS INFORMATION

 


We have served the Sparwood community for over 50 years

• We meet the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month at the Causeway Bay Hotel - 6:00 p.m.   

These are supper meetings - specials or off the menu - ordering starts at 5:30.

Every year, we do these and other projects in Sparwood:

• Bingo on Sundays from Fall until Spring (Except Holidays)

• We Recycle – collection of refundable bottles and cans

• Welcome back to school Pancake Breakfast (FJM Elementary School)

• Lion’s Pancake Breakfast during Coal Miner Days

• Two Bursaries - Grade 12 students- higher education - volunteerism

• Support for other Lions Projects and donation requests throughout the year.

The Sparwood Lions Club are members of Lions Clubs International, one of the World's Largest Service Club Organizations
